Katie, from the 2004 calendar (June) During a December 20th to December 21st 2008 visit to Nashville Tennessee (right before Christmas), Janet Kuypers met up with C Ra McGuirt (of Penny Dreadful Press), where not only did Janet Kuypers read some of her own poetry (including three brand-new originals, two of which were about the passing of her cat Katie), but C Ra McGuirt also read a number of Kuypers’ poems
There is a video recording of each of the Janet Kuypers poems read in Nashville 12/20/08 through 12/21/08 — by both Janet Kuypers and C Ra McGuirt. For some of hte writings, Kuypers also read the opem separately, and as the evening progressed, Kuypers started strumming random chords on C Ra’s black acoustic guitar while C Ra McGuirt read poetry.
Kuypers also released a chapbook of the poems (with poems laid out inteh chapbook in the order they were read):
