Janet hosts Poetry Aloud Janet in group
Janet Kuypers reads her poetry in the
“Poetry Aloud” open mic live at the Georgetown Public Library 4/27/19

a Year Long Journey     April 27th marked the first time Janet Kuypers hosted the Poetry Aloud open mic 4/27/19 in Georgetown TX, which was the only meeting like this at the Georgetown Public Library (5555 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX) during National Poetry Month in 2019. As host she welcomed poets and musicians up in this round-robin event, and during the round-robin reading Janet would read poetry (that sometimes related to the theme for this meeting, of the Notre Dame), in addition to her new poetry, and poetry from her 2014-2015 poetry performance art book “A Year-Long Journey”.

Below are video and writing links to the live performance of poetry readings from April 28th 2019 (4/27/19, or 20190428) at the Georgetown Public Library for the Poetry Aloud open mic 4/27/19 in Georgetown TX event.
