Soon I will fly away like the great blue heron,
strong wings rowing the great blue sky.

Soon I will fly away like the great blue heron,
small feet fading in the great blue sky.

Soon I will fly away like the great blue heron,
lone cry lingering in the great blue sky.

Soon I will fly away like the great blue heron,
rising beyond the great blue sky.
