My Love, you said. My Love, I answered.
It's snowing, you said. Snowing, I answered.
Still, you said. Still, I answered.
So it is, you said. So it is, I answered you.
Later on you told me, I love you. And I replied, -- More than ever.
The lovely summer is ending, you said. -- It's autumn,
I replied. And our words were no longer the same.
Finally one day you said, Oh Beloved, I love you so much.
(just as vast Autumn gloriously descended).
And I responded, Tell me again --
