Rainbow

Rainbow, in her burning orange arms,
held my heart, that broke and healed.

Rainbow, arching blue,
held the thin bridge over the mirroring bay.

Rainbow, blushing red,
held love long gone and far away.

Rainbow, in her broad violet hat,
held the clouds, both dark and light.

Rainbow, striding forth in her golden shoes,
held the hills, turning green again.
