Cliff's Edge

As I walk the cliff's edge,
the sun throws open her cape
and the ocean flashes a million mirrors.
Suddenly the dark one
shoves a gleaming blade to my heart.
The sun bursts into blazing stars.

Dropping my name,
I fall down before my pain --
What shall I do? I cry.
Accept everything that I give you,
She answers. I am everything --
you are burning with My Life.
