He called the guy,
“Porchman”
The man was always on the porch
Not usually drinking
Usually trying to fully survive the previous
Drunk,
Porchman was an alcoholic in that
His-skin-starts-to-scale-over stage
Sometimes, he slept on the porch
My friend had to step over him
He was dying,
Porchman’s sister told my friend
How her brother suffered
Thanked my friend for what Charity he’d shown
Encouraged him to make talk
And, indeed he did,
From her, he learned the guy’s name was “Tim”
He thereafter called him, “Tim Porchman”
