My hand on her sun-warmed
White gold hair as my lips
Touched her unpainted lips
Give me feeling of being
In a non-theological Eden.
An oriole among oranges sung.
I heard the song of he sap
In the new green of fennel.
When she put her clothes back on,
She told about her intense love
Of her living blind husband.
