I tape-recorded the sentences of
The hidden speakers in the dark.
When I played the tape, as I sipped Campari,
The sentences were not the same
As heard when I was there in darkness
On that summer night of owl calls.
The sentences were otherwise
Than which I had been acquainted.
The sentence were about the fusion
Of bright sunlight and a dark green blizzard.
