My name is a neon sign,
yelling at you,
telling you to go away
before I rip you apart.
It’s screaming at you,
warning you:
don’t come near me
you’ll burn yourself.
I can become Medusa.
I can turn you to stone,
don’t stare into my eyes,
I don’t want you to.
Just go away
Don’t stay
You’ll break.
Run, before my grief turns you to dust.
Run, so that you get saved from me.
Run, so that I can be saved from myself.
