What If

Alethea Jimison

What If
Weapons of mass destruction rule our propaganda driven fear identity.
Global warming incites guilt and terror as we are programmed into believing that we are the disease
that is festering the rivers- the blood and veins of this beautiful world.
We’ve been told that the world is evil. We are evil. We are the miscreant.
What if you knew that everything you’ve been told was a lie?
What if you knew the secrets of the universe?
What if you knew that you were the miracle of the universe?
Did you know that the disease festering and polluting our environment is corporate interest who live a life on the back of every Jane and John?
They tell us that we are a virus and yet when we cry, “no more destruction!” They shrug and smile slyly, “but we must supply the demand.”
Corporations sue states when states impose environmental standards demanded by the people accused of being a ravenous disease.
Corporations market wars to other countries to profit off the selling of weapons.
What if you knew that there were no weapons of mass destruction? It is all an illusion that is perpetuated by the money-making machine of greed that we do not even share on a spiritual level.
What if greed is an illusion that is instilled within your imagination by the ones who are perpetually hungry- you know, the ones who are taking your money.
What if greed is a symptom of moral starvation?
What if I told you that the most powerful weapon in the world is a smile?
Do you know that you can disarm any enemy with a smile?
What if you smiled at your neighbors every day- even when they refuse to smile at you?
What if you smiled at a person who was suffering?
What if you smiled at a person who was happy?
Imagine this; a smile is a weapon of mass destruction because you can destroy hate.
You can destroy fear. If you can destroy these two things, you will win any war.
