Bio
Lisa Molina holds a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin. She has taught high school Theatre Arts and English in the Austin area, and was awarded the Lake Travis ISD Education Foundation Teacher of the Year in 1992. She later served as Associate Publisher of Austin Family Magazine. Her life has been forever impacted by her son’s 3 battles with leukemia as a child. Since 2000, Lisa has worked with students with special needs at both the PreK and high school levels. Her poetry has been published in Trouvaille Review, Indolent Books-Poems in the Afterglow,” Eris and Eros Review,” and “Sad Girls Club Literary Blog,” with several poems slated to be published soon in other journals. When not binging on a new favorite writer's life and work, she can likely be found playing piano, singing her heart out, or being geeky with her special education students in one fashion or another.
