Like someone with kids
Who rides horses
Drinks Vodka
Owns homes in Dublin and Madrid
I’m sorry, you don’t
You don’t look
Like someone with comic collections
Trapped in mylar sleeves and acid-free cardboard backing
And a Pollock above the piano
You really don’t look
Like you would leave a dying guy
In the grass on the Minneapolis Midtown Greenway
He was already dead, you said
Now I see
You’re exactly like everyone else
You eat chips and drink beer
And look the other way
Like someone who looks away
Like someone who leaves home
Without a mask
