Not Be Hidden

Siddhesh
[Originally published on https://siddheshmahendra.wordpress.com/ (in Siddhesh 17)]

I feel like a lonely leaf
Falling down off the tree
There’s no one to be with
They say I am disgusting

At times I feel like a dandelion seed
White and peaceful flying proud and free
There’s still no one around to be with
But now they say I’m a little doughty

Closed room and rush of feelings
I’d rather be a dandelion seed or a leaf
Do I have to do something
For I have hands and feet with
Densely grown felt fern leaves
No one talks to me, they say I blather
When I just tried to be affable

There’s no anxiety but there’s vigor
To get rid of the clump and not be hidden
