Gravity Off

I imagine what would happen if
Gravity took some limited time off.
So, all the trash people created
suddenly began to float into the air
at eye level. Causing humans to duck
and dodge, all the garbage we foolishly
produced and wasted.

Do you suppose THAT would make people
become less wasteful, reduce packaging, stop littering,
be more responsible about the environment?
Probably not, after considering all the expensive
junk we left floating around us in space.
Einstein was right; earth is the insane asylum
of the universe.
