    The doorbell rang.
    Andy looked up from his book. He saw a flash of white shirts and name tags.
    Instinctively he threw himself to the ground, drawing his legs behind the table.
    Crap, Andy thought, hoping they hadn’t seen him yet.
    “Hey there!”
    Andy peaked around his coffee table and blinked at the window.
    The missionaries were waving at him. “We’re your new neighbors. Have you accepted Jesus into your heart?”
    Andy reached up and grabbing the fuzzy purple blanket off the couch, pulled it over him. He didn’t understand how they had missed the equality bumper sticker on his 2015 chevy spark or the giant multicolored flag next to his door.
    His doorbell rang again.
