How I entertain my guests lately

Lately, I do not have anything to gift
whoever visits me but a tumbler of grief,
An anthology of suicide notes from different edges,
Dismayed stories: how bandits invaded our
streets, how terrorists slaughtered our men at
their peril & how herdsmen became
ungodly gods on our lands.

No one visits me lately, except i entertain
him/her with videos and when we get
bored, we sip from the tumbler of grief
that sits gracefully in our hands.
May such violent night not be witnessed again.
If tragedy the only grievous genre of drama,
Let’s ascribe the name to this hot night.

These nights, our parents were slaughtered
& their bloods became a flowing river
of violent velocity, it reaches our homes
and erodes our brothers,
They got drowned and died too,
Who do we hold responsible of our
brothers’ death?
those who killed our parents & allow
‘em split so much blood,
Or our parents who got their children drowned
in their own blood.
