you’re one of the reasons
i lost my
religion

because i realized that you
could spout off scriptures
that you didn’t believe in
simply to control others,
but you were completely
hypocritical;

they told me that you were a
good man but like every other good
man i’ve known in my life
you weren’t—

i know karma will hit you
harder than i could ever imagine,

but when she does i hope it shatters
every happily ever after you could’ve
imagined for yourself and whispers
my name in your ear;

i am the daughter of chaos
and you will know the name of my scars.
