I’m alive now at my ten years old but

it’s not going to last and surely not
forever to boot, I’ll look back and think
maybe that this was the best year of my
life, but maybe I won’t, but anyhow
when you’re dead what is it you look back on
but everything, life goes on as if it’s not
only just one year or a week or day
or only a moment but maybe when
you’re dead you’re more alive than ever, look
at God Almighty and Jesus—to be
dead they command a Hell of a lot of
respect, maybe Christ is more alive now
than He ever was two thousand years a
-go. I wonder if He thinks about thorns.
