those of you celebrating the fall
of roe v. wade that might happen,
you do realize it’s more than abortion
rights they’ll strip from us, right?
that’s only just the start,
and you’re a fool if you think otherwise;

why are you so okay with the government
overstepping so far?

i can’t imagine how exhausted the people
who have been fighting for these rights since they were
eighteen and fighting since must feel,

all my life i have felt it was a war against anyone
who has had a uterus;

they say we’re weak but we’re not—

ants may be smaller,
but they are hard workers and together they
can bring the downfall of larger creatures;

so watch out for the oppressed
they pack a big bite.
