i’m not okay with any of this

i won’t be silent,
you will hear me
scream;

i refuse to go back
to a time where women
had no rights and i refuse
to allow people tell me
what i must and must not do
in my own life—

should you think you have
a right to tell other people
how to live because of your religion,

you are wrong;

and i am furious that there are people
okay with roe v. wade falling because
it’s more than just abortion rights at stake—

how can you have tunnel vision?

they’re going to keep going until no one
has any rights, and i’m not okay with that;
just as i am not okay with this.
