i am so sick of these
pick-me women,
and those who are riddled
with internalized misogny
screaming over us;

insisting that pro-life is the
only way—

not all of us subscribe to your
religion,
and not all of us wait for someone
to save us;

and just so you know they’ll never
pick you—

it’s not the government’s business
whether or not someone has a child,
and as someone who has had a
miscarriage;

i don’t need people trying to figure out if
that could’ve been prevented as i’m trying to
navigate my grief—

keep your hands off the bodies of anyone
with a uterus,

we have a right to our own bodies and our own lives!
