Not a hand in the curbside crowd
was raised.
“Then raise your hand
if the clothes you have on are clean
and not ragged.”
All hands went up
“Keep your hands raised if;
you ate today, if
you have a place to sleep.”
All hands remained aloft.
“Then you ALL are rich.”
