this country feels like
a circus of doom

bad thing after bad thing,
calamity after calamity;

well, there’s about to be a hurricane
and they’re not ready for the
eye of this storm—

too much has been lost already,
and i know i am not the only one
seeing red after the decision of
the supreme court today;

right after right they’re stripping away
so that we cannot fight back but i think they
underestimate our rage and our wrath—

that’s okay let them be surprised when they
no longer have power or prestige or money
to save them from the angry outcries of
everyone they’ve wronged.
