My life long quest
Of the unattainable
A common sense religion
A political party with a conscience
An unselfish big business owner

Like Don Quixote
Dreaming the impossible dream
Charging the oxymoron windmills
In hope of; salvation, satisfaction
Solution and solace
Usually forcibly dismounted

I won’t give in
I still have dreams
Impossible appearance aside
I just may find

A religion not superstition based
A political party its primary interest people
A big business owner regardless of larger profits

Until then
I’ll thank Goodness I’m a
Liberal
Self employed
Poet
Strolling to the tune
Of his own theme music
Please keep dreaming
