My heart is heavy
It’s not right
He had so much more life
There was more to him
    Than met the eye
His mother will not recover
The hole in her heart
    A permanent scar
Constant reminder
The world keeps spinning
We all go on, as does she
Part of her is stuck in that moment
Never are her thoughts far
Dwelling on that man who was her baby
