Path of Cotton Thistles

I walk through a path of cotton thistles
That takes me to the Burgos Cemetery

Where they just buried the daughter of some friends
Separated, with a son, and very nice
Not without first drinking water
At the fountain in Liberty Square:

Because it’s unbearably hot
Seeing a ghost on the road:

Because it’s unbearably hot
Seeing a ghost on the road:
And a flowery corner
Where women take their dogs to shit
With a sign that says:
How sweet is this shit?
They have already buried the divorcee
In these gardens of God and the Devil
Leaving her on the ground
Her parents and true friends
With a pain in the chest
As if they had a dagger stuck in their side.
We all left the Cemetery with great sorrow
Although happy because she doesn’t stay alone.
Me, along with my wife said goodbye
And we go to the little house
With a chicken coop and a garden of some cousins
To feed the chickens:

Because the cousins have gone on vacation
And we have promised to take care of them
Water the plants and tend the garden.
At the time of the road, drone view
We have spotted the orchard:

Right when we opened the door
We have seen the mother cat carry a mouse in its teeth
And to its five kittens
Asking where it’s taking it.
In one jump it has climbed into the pool without water
And it has hidden in it.
The kittens have been admired
Looking at its mom
With the eyes of saints.
