To love a poet
is an easy thing,
so long as he or she has one poem
that really hits me.

To love a poem
is an easy thing,
so long as it has one line
that really strikes me.

I don’t own jewels,
those poems
are the valuable stones
that I feel often.

I haven’t seen meteors,
those lines
are falling stars,
flashing across my sky.
