    Adam lowered his voice to a whisper and leaned close. “I was a six-year-old kid watching TV and my dad tapped on the window. When I looked, he stuck his dentures out of his mouth in my direction and growled. Mind you, back then, I didn’t know false teeth were a thing. When I saw that crazy Alien movie decades later, it wasn’t half as scary as my dad and his weird-ass teeth trick.” Adam’s senior citizen friends at the local Dunkin Donuts all nodded with respect. “I loved the man, ya know, but something like that leaves a mark.”
