Tell Me Lies

Your words breathe confusion inside me,
        they twist my senses of its defenses
                leaving me, in a pool where
                        my mind space is chewed up by the seeds from your mouth.

My body bends before the letters
you carve
        & as they dig into my soul
                they leave craters which form
                         from the explosions which            they
erupt inside me.

So tell me sweet lies
        sweet lies that crawl into
            the space I reserved
                    but you as a conqueror
            have fought with your weapons of mass destruction.

Whisper them into
        my consciousness
                before the truth
swallows me whole.
