Another Existential Poem

Life is what you make it,
and if you want it
to be Sundays spent listening
to someone’s interpretation of god
or fasting in order to hear god’s silence
prove his existence as much as mold
hiding in a wall,
that’s okay, but leave me
on pages like this,
where words try their damnedest
to become a seagull feather
fooling people into believing in angels.
