Blades

Second marriage knives are ours
blades so dull they can’t cut
potato skins. Were our lives
as their blades I’d need to
strip naked in the street
shout and run about to
generate some heat. But
for now I ordered two
new fine paring knives.
Hopefully that will
keep the naked business
indoors.
