or so the cliche goes
Maybe, maybe not
The cliche is not empirically tested
when editors censor cartoons
that ridicule the powerful
Cartoonist J.D. Crowe’s drawing
of then-Vice President Dick Cheney,
titled
“Another Big League Player Bulked Up On Steroids”,
showing him wearing a Halliburton uniform
and a hard hat with an H on it,
and
a needle sticking out of the left arm
labeled No-Bid Gov’t Contracts
was killed by the Mobile Register
in 2005
