because I already know that, so much
for believing, but then they add that no
one has to die at all even though they
do, they do so that they’ll live forever,
Heaven is the best place for that while Hell
is second-rate and as for Earth, no one
hangs forever there yet I like it here
and don’t want to leave, I’d like eternal
life where I am even though I’m only
ten years old but my Sunday School teacher
looks sad as she says You can’t stay here, Gale
—you move on to the Good Place or the Bad.
So I say I like this place good enough.
