When I get to Heaven I’m asking if

I can go back, for a while anyway,
I’m still alive right now and ten years old
but I don’t want to die, maybe I’ll just
say I forgot something, can the Angel
of Death fly me back to get it or Look,
I have to tie up a few loose ends but
watch God warn me about cliches, I mean
hear His warning but then again He’s God,
He could work that little miracle—that’s
nothing to Him, why does He want me hang
-ing around a holy place like Heaven?
So in Sunday School this morning I fell
asleep and when I woke our teacher asked
Don’t you want to die, Dear? I asked Right now?
