we don’t talk much
our eyes communicate
the obvious
i know
what you want/need/desire

it’s simple math

your eyes drink me in
you are not sure
what secrets i hold
but your curiosity
is damning

after the dome light
extinguishes
all i hear is the simple sound
of a zipper
gliding down

simple math
algebra
a sequence of events
that lead to an expected outcome

your outcome decided
            simple math
mine
            more complicated

like trigonometry
or quantum theory
