Months before the life threatening bony face and total cessation of behavioral norms
her mind called out for the hard black wind warriors
and so the Algonquin women, always good with their hands,
fashioned snowshoes borrowing the raw material from Munch's, The Scream-
a shoe for all seasons, she reasoned.

Once the hard black wind warriors were finally recognized for what they were
an army of ingested defense fighters struck at the heart of the enemy, forcing them to retreat.
Alas, palpable relief was threatened by enemy sightings,
the hard black wind warriors having obviously regrouped nearby.
The enemy stalked and taunted its prey before pouncing,
bringing such overwhelming force
that those who loved her were left scratching their head,
amazed that the enemy was seemingly unperturbed
by the expensive hire of Freud's best trained defense force
