Sometimes I feel so many feelings they gush from me, saturate my clothing with salted moisture and drown me in a damn breached by another break up. My feelings well, mix, funnel through my heart, legs, and spine, rapids escaping from my pores, flooding from my tear ducts. My clothes tumbling in the dryer, I slip on a neoprene suit. Waterproof and rubber, my feet squish inside flippers on sand and along coastlines. I stroke my arms and swim throughout seas dividing continents, hemispheres, directions. A fish deep in shallow waters, I am in search of a mate amongst shoals of fish and breeds extinct, unable to inhabit the aquatics or settle down in city as every human is already hitched.
