with nothing but your fists and an X-acto knife?
Have you gotten up at three in the morning
and gone to the refrigerator only to discover
that your wedge of asiago has been eaten
by your pet lemur? Have you bought articles
of clothing from Monsanto or any
of its subsidiaries? Did you travel to both Comet
Ping Pong Pizza and the Alamo to try
and find the tunnels in their respective basements
the liberal elites use to smuggle illegals
into the country? Have you been contacted
by telemarketers who attempted to sell you
ketamine, parrots, the deed to your grandfather’s
tellurium farm, all of the above? Were you
abducted by aliens? Have you acted
in a Harvey Weinstein film? Were you
served longpig at your local Hooters?
Have you ever awakened to find yourself
staring at yourself asleep on the other pillow?
Has your cat filed for divorce? Did you have
your summer blockbuster pushed back to February?
Have you ever heard the wolf cry
to the blue corn moon? You may be
entitled to financial compensation.
