Paradigm

Bill Johnston

Models in flared outfits, in wires and meshes, coats of many colours
walk the runway. They enter and walk the runway walk one by one.

Applause resounds in perfect acoustics.

At home, she watches the models. She sees herself in the latest trend
walking with her friends. Her body not a match controls her mind and
after a large repast at the end of the show she vomits in the toilet.

She won’t eat anymore tonight.
