Sigh,
take a really really
deeeep .... breath
I force my jaws
into the biggest smile
swallow the bile
in the back of your throat
I want to just take
my parents away to
a quiet private room
or out on a boat
near a deserted beach
maybe up into a treehouse
or out in my car
on a deserted road
and just ask
face to face
Why?
even if I think
I know the answers
I need
to know more,
then wish
sometime before
this nightmare began
they would have explained
or even cared a little
about my feelings
for now,
I will just sit numb
pretend everything
is just peachy
do my best
to carry on
in this daymare
