Like I could go to the store...
and buy a ticket for 11/20
tomorrow—
when I will be having a coffee
under the streetlight
up to my rough knees
in new white snow.

I can’t buy a ticket for when
under the bell tower—

seven petals
will surely be floating down
like feathers
from a brambled rose.

I can’t acquire my life—
write tickets to the show...
only if I’m quiet, very still
life appears—
like feathery petals
from a brambled rose
falling, falling
on soft white snow.
