warm on the skin.
Rain pelting down
like water on creatures with fins.

Soothing sounds
breeding dampness in the air.
Sleep induced state
motivated from lack of care.

In some places warm,
in others cold.
In some places quiet,
in others bold.

Whatever the reason
it falls at a whim.
It can become traitor,
or sometimes a friend.
