She was to confess her love.
The words quivered upon trembling lips.
And she shivered with what was within her heart.
A tiny creature in a quaking frame –
with a pulse that beat inside a quaking heart.
So much, inside so little.
She spoke.
Small trembling words, in soft trembling voice,
from tiny lips upon a tiny creature.
So small – to express so much.
