I am nothing but dust,
contributing to the dump
that is existence.

Mounds of molted skin
cells mixed with plucked
graying follicles make
me a rolling tumbleweed,
briefly bouncing across
the barren furniture, before
collecting myself when
the gusts settle as stale air.

But I am nothing,
just dust.
