SENSATIONS
Ryan Downey
I ate my past today.
Mixed it with acid
Dissolved its layers.
It tasted like shoes.
I smelled my present today.
As it wafted into my nose
Scent mingled with smog.
I couldn’t quite define it.
I saw my future today.
It was dancing all day
Looked like happiness.
I must be going blind.
