Dr. Jason Marc Harris teaches literature, writing, and folklore at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL.
Among other works, he wrote Folklore and the Fantastic in Nineteenth-Century British Fiction (Ashgate Press 2008; 2009 Finalist for Mythopoeic Scholarship Award in Myth and Fantasy Studies) and co-wrote The Troll Tale and Other Scary Stories (coauthor Birke Duncan; Northwest Folklore 2001).
