He shrugs on his mobile phone,
mumbles something about the architecture,
and says it is really not his scene.
He might be able to get away with that in Paris,
but this is Wylde Green.

She is wearing flip flops,
and a dead fox hat,
her face is a mask of indifference.
She might be able to get away with that in Paris,
but this is Wylde Green.

He is spitting on the street,
his ASBO is merely days away,
his language is really quite obscene.
He might be able to get away with that in Paris,
but this is Wylde Green.

You read about in the Daily Mail,
our self appointed Moral Guardians,
criticising complete strangers for money,
full of bile and vitriol, venting spleen.
They might be able to get away with that in Paris,
but this is Wylde Green.
