the confusion of global warming

it seems the leaves
on the trees,
and all the birds
that take vacation
for the winter
are suffering
from something
like mass confusion

none of these things
seem to know when
it is the right time
to strike for they’re
natural occurances

i too am very confused
this beautiful autumn

and i don’t think it
has anything to do
with global warming
