After getting his BA in English, Tim “T.E.” Kidwell was hired by best-selling author, Margaret Weis, as an editor for her company, Sovereign Press. It was under her tutelage that he cut his teeth as a writer and editor. He worked closely with Margaret and her longtime collaborator, Tracy Hickman, on numerous projects for the Dragonlance and Sovereign Stone worlds. Margaret and Tim collaborated on a short story for the Sovereign Stone setting entitled “An Affair to Remember” that appeared in Game Trade Magazine in July 2001. In late 2001, Tim struck out on his own as a freelance writer. He currently resides in southern Wisconsin with his wife and two cats.
